Special Cases And Applications
There is often misconception and confusion between stains and permanent damages. Stains are dirt that can be removed with special purpose chemical and rinsing with extraction machine. Sometimes, there are situations that after cleaning there are visible damage on the material. After the stains removed during cleaning with chemical and rinse with extraction machine, these damages becomes more visible. These are due to pre-existing damage and there is no solution, we compile the common situations and the explanation.
1. Discoloration:
Pre-condition:
Stain on the material subject (eg. sofa, carpet, mattress).
Post cleaning:
After cleaning stain is removed, appears visible discoloration or uneven color.
Reason:
Stain is masking the discoloration, after the dirt is removed from the material surface can notice discoloration or uneven color. Discoloration is caused by long period of the stain on the fiber, fungus damage, oil, watermark, food stain, corrosive chemical, rust, dye.

2. Damage to material
Pre-condition:
Stain on the material subject (eg. sofa, carpet, mattress).
Post cleaning:
After cleaning stain is removed, appears visible damage on fabric.
Reason:
Stain is masking the damaged fabric, after the dirt is removed from the material surface can notice that damage to the fabric fiber. Damage to fabric fiber is due to corrosion or fungus damage digest the fibers. Placing heavy things on top of carpet will cause damage to the fabric of carpet, it will get flatten and sometimes rust may appear, there will be no solutions or possibility or reversing the damage.

3. Material fabric fiber coming out
Pre-condition:
Material subject condition normal (eg. sofa, carpet, mattress).
Post cleaning:
After cleaning fabric fiber is coming out or tufting of fabric.
Reason:
Existing damage on the subject. Tufting of fabric or fabric fiber coming out due to material subject condition is aged, or deterioration or defect, fungus damage digest the fibers.

4. Bulging and Rippling
Pre-condition:
Carpet condition normal
Post cleaning:
After cleaning carpet forms ripple or bulging.
Reason:
This is caused by no proper installation of carpet by contractors. Carpets must be installed with proper gum and stretched tight. When that tightness relents, then you could have issues with your carpet rippling and loosening.

5. Worn out
Pre-condition:
Heavy stain and dark color with fabric worn-out condition (eg. sofa, carpet).
Post cleaning:
After cleaning stain is removed, appears dark color and very less fabric.
Reason:
Carpet has worn-out due to aging, after the stains are removed appears dark color because of discoloration, the color has faded. This is a no hope condition, please do not expect miracle. This is why it is recommended to clean your carpet or upholstery once a year, or else the cost of replacing is more expensive.
