Carpet Cleaning Services FAQ
1. What cleaning method do you use for carpets?
We use steam extraction (hot water extraction) and low-moisture cleaning methods, depending on the carpet type. Both are effective for removing dirt, stains, and bacteria without damaging the fibers. This method of cleaning carpet is recommended by carpet manufacturers and the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) (US), to maintain a cleaner carpet and healthier environment for commercial and homes.
2. Will carpet cleaning remove all stains?
Our cleaning process removes most stains, but some deep or old stains (such as dye or bleach marks) may be permanent. However, we always apply the best treatment possible to minimize their appearance. Unfortunately some stains are permanent damage to the fabric fiber causing discoloration and we are unable to clean such as old stains. These type of stains will not be able to be removed or make any visible improvement and therefore not applicable for touch up request – pet urine marks, dyes, food coloring, old coffee and food stain, oil, ink and paint marks.
3. How long does it take for the carpet to dry after cleaning?
Carpet drying time averages 1-2 hours for 1,000 sft, depending on area size, thickness and room ventilation. We recommend turning on fans, air-conditioning or opening windows to speed up the process. Our carpet cleaning process extracts 95% of moisture, which should dry fast with air-conditioner presence.
4. Is your chemicals safe and does it has chemical smell?
Our chemicals are of highest quality, it is water based and non-hazardous, it is safe on all type of carpets (roll carpet & tile). Our cleaning process extracts effectively all chemical residue and water from the carpet. It also not has any strong chemical odor or cause uneasiness after cleaning, however, you may experience better indoor air quality freshness.
5. Why does empty units or unoccupied office carpet condition requires extra cleaning?
Commonly carpet condition of empty units or unoccupied units for long time accumulates more dust or dirt. When carpet is not maintained monthly either vacuum or general cleaning, dust or dirt quickly settles deep down into the carpet, it can’t be seen with naked eyes. We therefore recommend customers to inform us in advance if you are moving in to an unoccupied office or the condition of the carpet. The service for this carpet condition is different then general carpet cleaning service.
6. Can worn out carpet be cleaned?
Though worn out carpet can be cleaned, however, we do not recommend the service. The reason being, cleaning will make worsen the condition of the fibers that are brittle, as it will become loose, becomes powdery, and the carpet will become more dusty from damage fibers.
